My name is Anthony Khouri and I am the Honorary Consul-General for the People's Republic of Bangladesh in Sydney with Jurisdiction throughout New South Wales. I am an Australian Citizen, born in Lebanon in 1947 and resident in Australia since 1950.

Amongst my various business activities, I am the Group Chairman of the "Khouri Group of Companies", which includes such Companies as Amflo Holdings and Amflo Constructions, Property Developers, Builders and Contractors. Included also is the Bufori Motor Car Company and its associated companies. In this we design, manufacture and market the Bufori range of hand made sports cars.

Whilst I have many other business and social interests, my most enjoyable and satisfying role is my position as Honorary Consul-General for Bangladesh.

Since my appointment in June 1998 by His Excellency Mr Abdus Samad Azad, the Honorable Minister for Foreign Affairs in Bangladesh, the Bangladesh flag has flown proudly at the office of this Consulate-General which has been open for business since my formal appointment.

During this time, it has been our pleasure to have been of service to numerous people,not only from Bangladesh but also people from Australia and other countries, wishing to have business or other dealings with Bangladesh.

In creating this link we were mindful of our experience of the general requirments of people who have had reason to contact our office over the past few years. As such, we have reduced those main requirments to those listed in our menu dialog box.
